We believe in the basics.
Basic dignity, basic respect, basic warmth, hygiene and safety.
As the weather cools, staying clean, comfortable and warm becomes even more challenging for vulnerable people in our community.
That's why we launched Collecting the Basics, a collection campaign focused on providing essential hygiene and comfort items to those in need during winter.

For six weeks leading up to winter, we invite the public to donate new and unused toiletries, such as bodywash, shampoo, deodorant and toothpaste, along with underwear, socks, beanies and scarves. Donations can be dropped off at collection points across Perth.

All items are distributed through refuges, crisis accommodation, drop-in centres and outreach services for men, women and youth.
