Campaign

Concluded
30 June 2023

We believe in the basics.
Basic dignity, basic respect, basic warmth, hygiene and safety.

As the weather gets colder, many vulnerable people in our community struggle to stay warm and comfortable.

That's why we're launching Collecting the Basics, a donation drive that focuses on providing essential items for comfort and survival to those in need.

We invite you to donate new and unused items like thermal underwear, socks, beanies, ponchos, and gloves to any of our donation drop-off locations across Perth, until 30 June 2023.

Items will be distributed to people in need through crisis accommodation centres, drop-in centres and outreach services for men, women and youth.

Every donation makes a difference!

1

Donate Goods

Get your family and friends together to purchase new and unused items to donate.

Check our FAQ page for a list of items collected.

There are dozens of businesses across Perth hosting donation bins from 15 May.

2

Donate Cash

If you'd like to help, but don't have items to donate, cash donations are a great way to make a real difference.

Donations over $2 are tax deductible and directly contribute to the campaign to help people in need this winter.

3

Volunteer

During the campaign, items need to be collected, sorted and packed to get to those who need it most.

Our team of volunteers are passionate, hard working and, most important, love to have fun.  If this sounds like you, fill in the form below and we'll be in touch!
